What rule(s) were broken:2-Claiming the Kill of Another Hunter: To take the Trophy of another Yautja, living or dead, is considered to be a great insult. If a Yautja is engaging prey in combat you should not interfere unless directly given permission. No matter how powerful the prey might be.

3-Murder of Another Yautja: To kill another Yautja intentionally (outside an honorable duel). This is the worst crime possible by a Yautja.


Description of the incident: Predator round on the ice map, the marines were hiding in the FOB, ran back to the lodge after my usual hit and run attacks on their sniper when suddenly im hit by a plasma shot on my way back, running away from the marine position, I think its a misfire or an accidental hit so I run back to the caves that the lodge is near, find some cover and pop a crystal to heal up, a few seconds or a minute later in comes Vormekta from behind and puts me into crit with two or three quick hits from the plasma rifle, possibly from range or cloaked, uncloaks, loots my trophies and takes my hunting bag and then uses a Crystal on me to make sure that I dont die after all of those hits, I was still in near crit after that, only fully surviving thanks to an admin-heal.

How you would punish the accused: Up to the head-staff, but I belive the usual punishment is a removal from the whitelist

While the idea of a bad-blood predator would be cool, I don't think it's a good example for predators to self-antag. What Abby did was a pretty clear violation of the predator code, as a youngblood no less. Simply put this is not acceptable pred behavior and if we allow shit like this then it could set the bar in a bad place.

This is a clear violation of our predator rules.
Even as an Elder who may discipline young-bloods... this is not the correct way to do so. Harming a fellow Yautja during a mutual hunt is unnaceptable unless under SPECIFIC admin approval.

The pelts were in a corner of the crashed ship to be exact, i stumbled upon them later on after i made the report

BTW even with all you say, an hunting party is a group. They honour the clan and stick toghether to fight, learn and claim their own bit of honourable mentions.
If you really wished to attack another Yautja you should've warned the admins prior to the events and additionally played with the RP way of doing it (As in, there's rules for friendly-fire combat).

Example:
Unknown takes up his plasma rifle and aim at his partner.
Unknown says []: "You shouldn't drop your guard."
Unknown fires the plasma rifle.
(Intentionally miss the target to provide a chance to react)

I tried to be nice about this. I kept you on the whitelist even though you quit staff because you created Predators and you've done so much for us. Time and time again I've asked you nicely, pleaded with you, demoted you, put you on probation, and even forced you to apologize (which I admit was not the right thing to do - I was just out of ideas on how to handle you).

I'm sorry. I just don't understand people like you. I don't get it. Perhaps I've failed managing you. But whether or not I have, I can't idly sit by and watch you turn this server into your plaything so you can do whatever you like.

Never let it be said that I don't appreciate you, Abby, because I do truly. But this just can't continue to be "swept under the rug", as it were. A fireman that saves dozens of people's lives and then goes home to snort coke is still breaking the law and is still responsible for their actions. Despite how much you've done for us - which is a LOT - you're still responsible for following our rules.

It could be said that, in this case, the broken rule was really not a big deal. Maybe that's true, so I want you to know that I've taken a different approach. I decided getting our staff team involved to vote on whether or not they want you to stay on the Predator whitelist rather than to leave it up to just one person.

The result is, I've removed you from the Predator whitelist effective immediately. I'll give you the result of the vote in a PM if you want to see it (except for the replies to the topic - those were made in confidentiality).

I've never felt as sad taking administrative action against someone as I have with you.

I just don't get it.
