Description of the incident:BO Benjamin Forrester, takes harry cowper's corpse to cloning, even though he suicide which IC means you don't clone. but he LOOC with harry to get him cloned, then I go into cloning try to empty harry pockets, he says don't, why does a suicided corpse need its items??? meta again. he gives me several warning to leave, even though I have every right and access to be in cloning, then he pulls his sub machine gun that happens to have AP ( why does a BO need a sub with AP) and just shots enough times that it is considered your trying to kill a person (6 AP to the head), george white tte doctor that round saw all of it and tryed to help, BO proceeded to hang around medical the intire time when I'm crit about to die and getting surgery. (negligance of job) this whole time I'm trying to get help of comms, which isn't that your right if your being murdered? maybe not.. he then takes the headset denying rights again, wasn't abusing the radio, was asking for medical attention, after he kidnaps me from cryo tubes after doc finishes surgery, he takes me to sec cuffs me while I'm still crit, meanwhile CO believes none of it because I'm a survivor and hes a BO survivors normally are tryna take over bridge. then he deliberately brings my crit and cuffed body in front of a sentry to kill me. now no fucking way can anyone argue this wasn't deliberate the sentry was on rasp as well. he or someone else took me to medical, i get cloned he is still fuckiing hanging around MEDICAL waiting for me WHAT THE FUCK. This round is still going so i'll edit if more happen which it will. He also metas with the sec stuff, because there is a MP, and then after I am cloned handcuffs my clifeless clone body what the fuck again? AND THEN BRIGGS MY CLONE BODY FOR 30 MINUTES he does this himself when theres a MP present, again doesn't say why or give me my rights. he comes back after 25 minutes of me in brig and resets it too 30, then changes it to 60. his excuse for everyone, i tried looting a suicided corpse (which was also a survivor) which IC is perfectly fine. plus he briggs a BO for attempting to murder another BO and gives 20 min while i get 90 as a clone that was cuffed before I got out of clone crit, refused to get out of cloning.....?

Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc):Alice was CO, george white was doc who actually saw incident. free was on at the time and ignored ahelp or was busy.

Alright, after investigating, I've concluded that this guy is a pretty terrible MP/BO.

While there were no MPs, a BO acting as an MP is sorta fine but the reasons why you were killed (improper escalation) and brigged were not proper procedures for marine law. Its okay for a BO to act as an MP since there were no MPs around but he wasn't following marine law procedures properly. He's also permabrigged the XO for using throwing knives which is legitimate, I guess but also pretty terrible.

Anyway, he's been job banned from Command positions and Military Police. I've told him he can appeal this in a week.

I didn't ban him because with the new change that only MPs can use stun batons, he tried to use his flash on you but you had sunglasses on so he decided to go straight for the pistol. This is his first noted improper escalation offense so he's been warned for it. But overall, very terrible decisions on his part.

Also including the items that were on the suicided corpse, BO ben ended up leaving in the main hallway for anyone to take, so that begs the question why were they so important to kill me and do all that shit for to start with??

another edit: sorry this is a bit incoherent and I repeat myself.

Immediately after the jobban was applied, Sars stole an ID, went to the bridge and killed me, and tried to hide my body.

Apparently we had an MP but I hadn't seen them all round, I assume they weren't active
What they left out of the screenshot was me telling them to stop looting the body and leave about 10 times. I tried to flash them but they had sunglasses. I was shooting to wound not kill, as they had weapons. I didn't kill them. The turret WAS a legit accident, it wasn't the gauss turret on the front it was a turret set up inside the rasp, I went on the rasp to give them the grenades you had.

They weren't killed when I shot them.


edit: forgot to say, the stuff from the suicided guy was all returned to the guy, not in the hall. I'm glad you tagged this appropriately.

more edit: The XO, shaun e something, I brigged for 15 minutes for using throwing knives on an SSD BO. (editx5:he did this shortly after regaining conciousness after being afk but logged in for like 95% of the last ~2 hours) He said something like, "Oh boy wait till I get free!" So then I was like, ok perma if you're gonna kill me. Assault with a deadly weapon is min 15(edit:actually 20) minutes max perma. I perma him and he threatens to metagrudge me in looc. ("I'll remember this" "have fun next time I see you " When I call him on it he backtracks "No metagrudge killing is stupid why would I do that?" I still let him out later in the round. He didn't kill me but the survivor did so... please understand my paranoia.

what were my alternatives? Either let them loot, or get into a fist fight? They were armed.

Heres what happened in order

survivors come up
Go to bridge
harry kills self because infected
I take him to bridge and start taking his items until I realize he killed himself because infected
take him to cloning, sars follows
tries to loot him, which they admit to
i push them and take the bag and flash, tell them to leave like 3 times
they cry over the radio that I took their flash and ignore me
edit:forgot to put in here, I did try to flash them but they had huds.
I say about 5 more times to leave, say Last warning
Then say are you leaving? they dont so I shoot them.
Don't kill them even though I could
they get some surgery, doc takes them out of surgery so I assume they're done, cuff them.
they're still bleeding so I take them back to medical
they finish getting surgery, but stop talking, probably to make this report. edit:as far as I know they didn't talk from this point up to their ban.
I take them to the dropship to give their nades to the marines, didn't know there was an active turret inside rasp. They die, get cloned.
I figured that if they got free they'd kill me (they did) so I put them in the brig with a radio in case they wake up, my plan was to send them down to the planet.
They did wake up but instead of using the radio they adminhelp about brig times
I get bwoinked, explain things, recieve jobban.
Take them to cryosleep as they are definitely SSD at this point.
Continue dealing with XO
go to bridge, they come in behind me and kill me, they recieve ban. But apparently my ban still stands

I repeat, what were my alternatives to escalating to pistols? fist fight or let them loot. The survivor they were looting was later cloned and played a vital role in medical treatment onboard the sulaco. I believe I did the right thing. Guess I'll make an appeal in a week though.

edit:forgot to mention, yesterday sars kidnapped the CO and took him to the surface for some fucking reason. This probably influenced my decision to shoot, although again, what am I supposed to do? They had the incin shell shotgun and grenades from the surface, and the temple loot. If I let them use lethals first, I'm fucked, and I have no way to stun them.

Take this quote, the fact that this person thinks survivors normally try to take over the bridge. Add the fact they had huds and a flash (and soap by the way) and the fact that they kidnapped the commander yesterday and got ic punished but not-as far as I know-ooc punishment.

The cried I took their flash. None of the bridge staff had huds. No MP. The more I think about this, the more I feel I made the correct decision.

Warnipple said I was terrible a few times. Yeah, I'm not great, I don't think I'm terrible though. I try.

Well, I'm jobbaned from all bridge access roles, sars is normal banned for an amount of time unknown to me. I guess that's resolved from your end, but obviously I'm not satisfied with the outcome. I don't feel like I got a fair shake because sars was the one who took it to the forums.

Not shooting the survivor for looting a dead marine would've been my first go to option.

It was another survivor not a marine. But what DO I do? Again my options were let him loot or fight him, he had armor, I didn't so I would lose a fight. Just let him run around taking whatever? No active MPs. This was a direct result of sec equipment changes taking peoples non lethal options.

Also just found out I'm also jobbanned from ERT? Why? edit: I guess I can see that actually, nevermind.

I had a pistol with AP not a sub like you keep saying, its in your screenshot. I would lose a FIST fight which is why I'm saying I escalated to guns.
