Description of the incident: So I went down to the hangar to set up a corpse chute system that sends corpses to cloning (as the CE), when the MP named Trumpy o' Trumpus aims a gun at me, I go WTF, and his gun starts clicking as it was not loaded, I continue with it until Trumpy McTrumpelton smashes me in the chest with a .44 Revolver for no reason, I pull back, grab my crowbar and start fighting back (there was no staff on at this time.) BO named Mason 'Maverick' Brody breaks up the fight, I stop and let him do, then McTrumpelton comes back with a fireaxe and tries to hit me with it, I dodge and keep on hitting him with a crowbar (keep in mind the BO was just watching), I hit him a few times with an o2 tank, I disarm him, take his fireaxe and I killed hi mwith said fireaxe, the CDR Mitchell Ironmonger arrives, questions me on what happened, I tell him what happened, the BO says my story was true, then Trumpy O' Trumpus picks up the fire axe and starts hitting me in the head with it, the other guys stop him, I get dragged to ladders, then Trumpers Wallson stabs in the head with a combat bayonet, the others stop Trumpers and now I'm in medbay getting treated, Also the mentor named Completelynewguy was there and told me to make a player report about this.

How you would punish the accused: 7 day ban for grief as I had done nothing to them and was just setting up the corpse chute system.

Right, I was there. This is technically an ongoing situation, but I'm sure the Trump-related names and their Ckeys have left the server. I recommend a permaban for two of the Trumpers, one of them confirmed that they were friends and showing them how to play.

I don't know how to start this.

I had two friends over, suggested we play a game (I've been playing on this server for over a year on&off). At round start someone said in OOC "I want to see the two teams fight to build the biggest wall" or something rather.
We made our characters, one of my friends accidentally signed up as an MP so we went to the CO and asked him to change his role because he wanted to be a Marine and didn't know how to play an MP, CO wouldn't do it.

The Musician came down as we were sitting in the hanger, my friend (The one who he fought) accidentally hit him with his revolver as he was a new player, and the other one pointed the gun at him intentionally but as a joke, as you can see in the screen shots provided, the guns were not loaded (signified by the *click* *click*), The Musician then went frantic and attacked my friend who accidentally hit him with the revolver, stole his gun and my friend gave chase. At this point I did not give chase, they fought and The Musician killed my friend's character, my other friend who was the MP attacked the Musician and was beaten, I dragged his body away and stabbed The Musicians character ONCE.

After that is when I spoke to completelynewguy.

Your friend bashed me once, I said "What the fuck?" He said nothing, didn't apologize, didn't see a chat bubble, then proceeded to either bash me again or aim his gun at me, can't recall which, then, crowbar in hand I retaliated, I'd get the logs again but I already logged off.

I hopped onto the server after all three players had died, and added notes about them breaking naming rules. I will be investigating this, but my initial impression is that a group of friends did meme names while learning to play, fight broke out and everyone assumes Grefer because of the names.

As I said, I'll be investigating this shortly, but assuming there is no proof of grief would recommend simply a warning about breaking the name rules.

Ok, I finished going through the logs. Couple things stand out, beyond what has been said so far.

There was pretty blatant metabuddying going on, frogtoez suggested their friend would commit suicide if they didn't get their ID changed from MP to standard, and the other two BOTH attacked the CE with fireaxes multiple times.

I'm recommending a 3 day ban for all three players.

Rules broken:

6: Griefing
Marine 2: Naming
Marine 3: Incompetent Marines

Frogtoez, as a veteran player you are held to a higher standard, and when introducing your friends to the server should have been the one making sure they follow the rules. I'm disappointed you didn't, and instead prevented them from experiencing what CM is about.
