Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Change the camera on helmets and move to the armor.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
BO's won't get SSD that easily, only if his SL is dead (Even if he can contact the squad to find his body, since he can find the localization by the camera). The SL would be able to use the standard marine's helmet, without destroying the BO overwatch.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
This can be a minor change, but may actually make all the BO's that just SSD after his SL dies, to competent overwatches, that can retrieve the SL body after he dies, giving the position and making the marines rescue him at all costs. No more SL's walking around with broken helmets, just to allow the overwatch use the camera. A minor change that can actually make a HUGE difference to command staff

Camera on SL armor
On May 17, 2016, a group of farmers dug up the diary of an ear of corn named Watson. Here are his entries.
Day 76:
They took Lawrence, dear god Lawrence... They ripped him off the stalk and smeared him in butter, just like Tyler and Jodie. They shipped him off to the popcorn factory...
I wonder what his wife will say.
Day 120: My brother says the VEGANS are protesting for more anti-meat bullshit. They want more of us to die. FUCKING HEATHENS.
Day 153: The ants are eating me from the inside out. They are popping out my kernels and taking them back to the nest. I feel them moving inside me. Julia says the pesticides will end our misery.
Day 300: Sweet Release. I can hear the planes flying over now. They are dropping the gas, it feels so good, sweet release-

If SLs didn't rush forward and wasn't the first one to break their helmet, this wouldn't be an issue.

Oh no no no, dont you dare say that. I play SL all the time, and I almost never rush. What happens is the xenos TARGET SLs because of their helmets. I have been in the middle of my squad when a runner pounces and breaks my helmet and gets shot to death. This is true, i seen my SL's get rushed by runners, one runner litteraly ran through 5 marines (myself included) and jumped at the SL, hugging him enough times to destroy the helmet by the time we killed it, we even accidently FFed him once.

I have other ideas. Cameras are going to remain helmet-only as of right now, but it's being looked into. Denied for now.
