Let's cut out the middle man. Just give the SLs req radio, and Req can launch supply drops from cargo, and remove those useless SOs altogether! Hehe

I'd be happy for SLs to get requisition or for CTs to get command channel - having played both SO and SL recently, it would have been a godsend to be able to A. make sure that I was actually getting crates loaded and B. contact cargo when command was in the middle of a civil war between control fetishes & alien pets.

"Chain of command" should be that the BOs are making the request for cargo, not the SLs directly.

I'll double that. Plus both SLs and RO have comm channel, which is effectively req channel for command staff anyway.

Apop touched on this. Doing away with this would take away from the job of an SO. Part of the game is dealing with bad SO's, little things like being quick to relay supply requests are part of what makes good SO's shine. Denied.
