Xenos appear to be burning a long time after they are no longer actually on fire.

Post by Mordrehel » 28 Dec 2016, 14:27

Bug Description: After being burned xenos get the fire overlay and it never leaves

Steps to reproduce:
1. Take xeno
2. Take anything that will set a xeno on fire
3. Burn said xeno until the fire overlay never leaves

(Bug being reported mostly because it makes it impossible to stalk humans as a hunter.)

Rest and then Rest again to fix, Likely an issue with sprite not updating. Isn't this reported already?

Tried looking back a few pages, didn't find the report for it.... Anyways, still a common bug from what I've seen as observe mod.

Last post... October... Consider this a bump to that then, still an issue.

Going to bump this one since Casany posted about it still existing.

The fire sprite bug on Xenos still exist, and it's no longer a duplicate bug as this one > viewtopic.php?f=116&t=7160&p=96065& because humans set on fire now has a different sprite and works very well. The fire bug only exists on Xenos now.

I archived the other thread about the same bug. And moved this one to Confirmed.

Bug is reproduceable by shooting a xeno with incendiary ammo, then wait, and the overlay never diseappears (until you use "rest" twice to update your sprite).
