Removing the Ability to Tackle Nested.

Post by Nightwolf901 » 31 Dec 2016, 19:35

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Basically, removing the ability to tackle or touch nested in any way. Making it seem more like RP instead of ruining any form of it.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Removing this will make it seem more lore logical. Not producing combat logs and making it a little less ear rapey.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Overall i think we have all encountered a situation where we are being tackle spammed while NESTED. Overall its annoying and when you have two Xenomorphs doing the stated it kind of ruins both sides. For Xenos it removes a fighter or a builder to help if in trouble. For marine it ruins any finding or chance in breaking free or in general RPing if they do so.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Thine would think thou coding would make it work.
LOOC Nyxia 'Fifty' Cals "I swear to god if I haven't broken a bone to this moment. I need to head back to get my replacement Titanium plates."
LOOC John '???' Baker? "Better get running"

Sometimes, Snowflakes are not needed, but this one keeps pushing the fact.

+1. Reduced combat log spam, and would prevent xenos from constantly tackling nested marines so that even if they do pull themself free they'd still be downed from he tacklespamming.

+1 it just really confuses me when a Spitter sits there spamming tackle on me only to spit neurotox and put me back in the nest when I get up.

Is there like a reason for that or something? Because I see a lot of xeno just tackle spamming me for a good minute before deciding to nest me and it's really confusing.
Garth Pawolski, or is it Powalski?

Back in action.

If someone is removed from a nest by a xeno, there is a timer before they can be nested again. This is why xenos tacklespam someone to oblivion instead of nesting right away.

As for the suggestion, ehh. I'll give it a +1 if only to prevent attack log cluttering.
Troublesome, as usual.

This isn't something we're looking to do right now. Denied.
