Predator ship scan on request

Post by RadiantFlash » 01 Jan 2017, 18:01

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):Pretty simple idea really, Give the predators access to a scan from their ship, which scans all of the ground and space giving exact numbers of which side is where. Similar to mother reports and queen mother reports.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):Hopefully, It'll give the predator a bit more intel on who to hunt and when, rather leaving them blind and only way to find out is ahelping.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):A button on their wrist-thing/predator watch, that gives the single predator a report of how much prey is where. After all, the predators supposedly have far more advanced tech then the colonial marines. I'd assume they can have better sensors.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):..Coding?

+1, maybe this will cause less events of predators attacking the last few marines left on the planet, or hunting down the last xenos when they're weak.

I've been, on several occasions, told that the extinction rule was removed. Predators are allowed to pick the last few of each side on certain circumstances like when said preys are last alive on the planet with the entire other team on the ship.

Either way, this would get my +1 and I recommend a simple format like this one for the text result:

There are [#] humans on the hunting grounds and [#] on the human space-craft.
There are [#] xenomorphs on the hunting grounds and [#] on the human space-craft.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Well, I was more thinking of predators attacking the last bastion of marines on the planet trying to hold out against the ayys.
