If you are going to whitelist the commander and not the queen, atleast give her a time-lock

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): The queen has a time-lock of a certain amount of days, I suggest 5/6.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): The queen is, literally, the most important player of the game. She makes or breaks a 4 hour round, either turtles hard or insane pushes to the death, calls the shuttle down with only 3 runners with her and go dies/allows them to set up impossible defences. It would help the game flow so much

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Just time-lock the queen. Don't allow anyone to evolve to a queen unless they have been playing for a certain amount of time. Since no one is going to whitelist the queen, even though I have posted a suggestion how to and still let there be a queen if no one whitelisted is playing, at least give THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER IN THE GAME a timelock, I don't want a shitty queen and neither do marines, it doesn't make the round fun

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Look at TG and how they Timelock their antags. Not much of a idea of what else to do

Why is this needed? If an experienced player wants to be Queen she will announce it at round start, knows where to click, ask sentinel/drone for plasma and evolves faster. If noone wants to be the Queen (which happens often) then better an inexperienced Queen than no Queen.

If you wanted to be Queen but a newbie took it or sabotaged your evolution then it's different and I would agree. Never seen this though. What I see is just "Not it, not it, not me" at roundstart. In my experience the people who blames the Queen never wanted to be it themselves.

No queen is better than a bad queen. If there is no queen, it ends the round. 10 minutes of boredom is better than a 3 hour slog fest of a shit round

We've discussed a lot, and it's just plausible. A lot of experienced players don't want to play queen, and people are often forced into the role with no experience. We're trying to come up with a solution, but it probably won't be a timelock. Denied.
