Have a Corgi be at the Bridge round start, maybe the SS13 Ian.

P.S. When you tap him with a Commander's Hat it equips to him and his name is changed to Commander Ian.

I can confirm this, last night during a round where I played queen, we found a corgi and built a temple for it. We then, with the corgi in our hearts, killed the tallhosts FOR THE FLOOF. Proof http://imgur.com/mKrN1zm

It will do the same for marines.

+1, I want the xeno's to have something to fight for, and the marines too! The bridge would be the hardest place to breach thanks too commander ian's top watch and orders. Plus, allows for sum fun admin-intervention when they take control of the corgi and give orders

Honestly I would enjoy having some animal mascot the marines take with them on the Sulaco, doesn't have to be a corgi though. But some nice animal would be a nice touch sometimes.

This is too reminiscent of vanilla SS13. Besides, not only would a marine detachment not bring a small dog on a search and rescue mission, an animal like that would never be allowed on the bridge of a military vessel.

The cat stayed behind, and likely starved to death. I thought about that as I was watching the movie, actually. As much as I like corgis and pets, it's pretty nonsensical to include one on a bridge of a military troop carrier. Denied.
