alien mouth

Post by Vwilson » 14 Jan 2017, 09:25

This is my second suggestion to colonial marines forum.

The idea is to add the second mouth to the alien
6 seconds to use in a immobilized marine
instant kill, cut of the head

I think 2 seconds is a bit short, especially because when you remove the head, the marine's chances of being revived on scene (via defib) go from 15% to 0%, and their chances of being cloned goes from like 50% to like 2%.

Also, not super necessary, most of the time when marines are immobilized is when they're hugged or nested, and neither of those require a kill.

I dunno if it should behead them, maybe add a whole in the head, a new kind of wound? I think you shoulder need to double grab them then be able to use it. so that it is only effective on lone marines or only aliens with huge health can afford to do it, but here is the real question do you massively nerf preds and make them kill-able by this? i Mean we have seen celtic pred die by this... I would say unblooded pred can die by this, anything above goes wolf style and rips out the second mouth when they try

With current hugger combat? No. No way in hell. If hugger combat is removed? Hell yes.

It's currently too easy for marines to get stunned. With this in place, if the hive are not in need of more larvae then it would be very easy to start killing off the marines like this.

Lorewise I'm all for it, but the current hugger combat is not lore friendly so I'm afraid it's a no from me at the moment.

Wait, Insta-kill? No way...

The aliens use It In lore to INCAPACITATE a Human. The "tongue" doesn't kill his prey Mostly of the time, It deals brain damage, so the xenomorphs can drag him to the hive without any resistance[this would break the game for anyone that Is captured]. Now, insta-kill Is a bit to OP in my opinion, even with the 6 secs thing... -1
