Praetorian buff
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
At the moment the praetorian is the worst T3 Xenomorph. I suggest making them stronger by making them more lore friendly. Essentially they become stronger the closer they are to the queen.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
This would make the praetorian a much more viable option.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
In the lore Praetorians are the Queens elite guard. I suggest simply, the closer a praetorian is to the queen, the stronger it becomes.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

Re: Praetorian buff
Biiiiish, elite/ancient praetorian spit is nearly instant paincrit, and they are durable enough. But i really dig that powerup idea, +1

This place would be so much better if marines were replaced with cyborgs, atleast those would follow orders. assuming there was a rule forcing them to do so...

Re: Praetorian buff
Yknow I made a couple of these right? The only buff they'd need is a speed buff and if not give them a higher health pool that matches the Queen's.
Edit: turns out this is a completely different suggestion +1 for coordination

You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

The fact is you have to reach ancient praetorian, which I have only seen a few times outside of WHISKEY OUTPOST

Re: Praetorian buff
They aren't worth the T3 slot right now, since what they do is what spitter can do, and dodge always faster

Re: Praetorian buff
It's less likely that you're going to be chased if you're a spitter than if you're a praetorian and the pheremones don't really help with the lack of speed either. In the lore, they're supposed to be badass killing machines but here, they're a waste of a slot like the others have already said. The other Elite/Ancient T3s are much better than an Elite prae, for example, elite ravager can easily maim, elite crusher can easily tank damage, elite carrier can easily hug people and elite boiler's gas is just deadly. Elite praetorian really has nothing going for it except for the damage it's acid spit does, which doesn't really make up for the lack of speed since you can just as easily be rushed down as a boiler.
Anyways, +1
Anyways, +1
Just some funny moments.

Re: Praetorian buff
You can enjoy moving around at 5 tiles per ten seconds while being chased by marines that run at around double that. Spitting neuro won't stop you from getting hit. It's only there to slow them down, not to mention the delay between firing and your limited supply of plasma.adamkad2 wrote:just as easily rushed down if you got spit that knocks nuggets down right away?

Re: Praetorian buff
They can still mow you down since they're roughly the same speed as you. Anyways, like I said before, there's still the RNG chance of it hitting or not, each miss allowing them to get closer.adamkad2 wrote:im not sure if they will move as fast, if they will move when in paincrit

Re: Praetorian buff
I overall point is this: Praetorians are good, but not when compared to other T3s. I think they would be much better if they were encouraged to act like they do in the lore. Simply put A praeorians within five tiles of the queen should be a nigh unstoppable killing machine, but a praetorian who is very far away from the queen, should be weak as fuck

Re: Praetorian buff
Why in the hell are Praetorians glorified spitters anyways? In the lore aren't they basically super warriors? Rav's are super runners..? Eh it's a weird one, I personally say Praes mostly need to be faster, and more able to handle a bit of a melee fight from time to time isntead of being weak slow super spitters, now if being near the Queen lets it get a bit more armor too to help shield the Queen that's even better! Praes should die before they let the Queen die!
....Eh, short story, neat idea, more or less depending on how its implemented. +1
