Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
My last suggestion was nixed due to an issue with the sprites, so for this one I figure changing the marine's stance would do it. Add a mode that when the marine changes his/her stance to "Walk" and aim to "Aim", the marine is able to fire around his/her comrades without friendly fire.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Marines no longer feed to Xenos Major, Spec role Sniper is much more viable and the Sadar has a chance to not kill an entire squad.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Marines walk very slow in this mode, so they would have to change their speed and their firing stance to escape a xenos rush. this slow switch up may cause some Boots to get caught up in a charge and die, leaving only skilled players who understand how to fire their guns correctly. Also, as far I can tell, there would be no need for a change to the sprites.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Aiming stance (no FF)

Re: Aiming stance (no FF)
The only way this could work is beefing up dodge when you are in walk mode, i think, since i am preety sure bullets don't care if you are at walk or run

Re: Aiming stance (no FF)
This sounds like every marine becomes a walking smartgun. This isn't going to work, and it would eliminate FF completely. No one would really have any reason to be in anything other than aiming stance in combat. Since FF is a part of gameplay, this is denied.
