Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Make the round starting small defenseless creatures an optional round start playable role for players.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):This would add a lot of balance towards Marine early game and add possibility of an unpredictable 3rd party threat for both sides, since Xenos atm have the highest winrate due having lot of larvas in reserve within 10-15 minutes of the game, cause they can just collect all the small hosts without any effort and carry the game while taking lot of losses due hugger combat. There is also lot of added RP and possibilities like different breed of creatures fighting each other for control on a map section, or working like an pack to survive against the xeno menace like survivors while trying to defend against humans that try to kill them cause they are alien hosts.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):Xenos would be forced to communicate and plan more together within the first minutes of the game, since they won't be able to catch player controlled monkeys without huggers unless they are confident they can tackle spam until eggs are ready. The monkeys and other species in the planet will probably try to gather together since they dont have an hivemind or radios, I believe this can go either two points. They will go and bunker in some place in the map or gather melee weapons and attempt to kill the xenos by sheer numbers, but success is highly doubtful.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): I believe it would be simple enough to implement it, only few changes should be made tho, like not allowing them to vent crawl since this would completely ruin the Xenos if they hide in the vents and add their own language. Rules and Guidelines should be thought by the community and staff, for example if they should know how to use tools or guns, can they cooperate with different small species of animal etc.

Is this suggestion for real?

You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Re: Playable Monkeys, Stoks, Neaera.
To be serious for a moment though, playable monkeys would not work for CM gameplay at all; you are basically defenseless and can't do anything outside of annoy players. It's also really, really silly. It makes some sense to chimp out in regular SS13, where you have genetics transforming people into monkeys and back, but in CM? Not so much. There's also nothing for you to really do aside run around. There's also the whole point of punishing xenomorphs by making monkeys harder to get: Xenomorphs already control the colony and have captured many hosts already. The only reason we even have monkeys around the colony is so that we can artificially limit them from having all of the resources at their disposal at round start. Why limit them even more? This is denied.
