Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):

So ive been using the incinerator alot but ive realized that its usless all it does is set em on fire for few seconds with a cool animation and thats it,it does like 1 damage to them.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):

+Give marines a better chance of survival.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):

So in the ALIENS movie the incinerator was LIKE the best alien killing machnie.In the movies aliens shit their pants when they see fire. The thing is the aliens aren't even scared of fire they just walk trought it.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
make incinerator over (9000) op

I love the incinerator but marines can't be trusted with a buffed one.... The thing was buffed for like a week and we had so many cases where marines would light each other on fire on accident or on purpose and it got annoying real quick.
Also the incinerator is mostly a utility item instead of a weapon, mostly for clearing out weeds and egg fields at a decent pace or for area of denial

cmon man the incinerator is the best item cause ripley USES it. Like cmon in the moves aliens are scared from it and die in few seconds BUT HERE THEY NEVER DIE NEVER THEY JUST RUN OUT OF THE FIRE AND WALK TROUGHT THE FIRE ITS USLESS MAKE IT OP.

Xenos have a chance of being lit on fire.

The problem is that even when they are lit on fire, they can easily get behind cover and on weeds then roll it out; the damage usually doesn't outpace the weed healing enough to kill.

It only works if the xeno is already half health when you light them on fire and they don't immediately resist, but cases like this are so rare that it almost never happens, making the incinerator only useful at clearing resin fields (good marines can walk over eggs and kill face huggers faster than the flame kills them then dissipates).

You can only kill a xenomorph when he is stunned or in crit with the incinerator.

HERES WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A XENOMORPH CHARGES AT YOU

Runner is charging at a marine with huggers

Marine shoots the incinerator and hits the alien

The alien is lit on fire!

The alien realized that he isnt taking any damage

The alien isnt taking any damage and is walking trought the fire and face hugs the marine

The incinerator is only useful to destroy Weeds/Eggs/Huggers

I like the incinerator as it is to be honest. And if it got a buff it would end up killing a lot of marines, because FF (heh). The only thing I dont like is the fact that theres a delay. -1

The primary incinerator purpose Is to be area-denial, not a weapon like such you ask for.

As you may know, he has been debuffed due to a significant amount of FF and damage It was causing for the Marines, something that was getting funky within time.

We have a lot of mechanics that are gameplay based; we won't change It due to it being "OP" In the films.

I've made fixes and adjustments to it in the next update, and it will function better. Also, the format is awful and I'm closing this. Resolved.
