This would be an app for phones that would take you to the forums. It would make getting to the forums with phones a lot easier and it might also get people to try out CM.

It would allow people to access the CM forums a lot faster on phones. It could also get people to try out the game.

This would work like any other app. You click on it and it brings up a phone friendly interface of the CM forums.

Honestly, I have no idea. It would be cool if it was created though.

Problem with iPhone apps is that it costs $100 to get it on the app store, and oftentimes getting someone to develop one is extremely expensive. Likely not worth the return it would get.

While an incredibly ambitious and potentially helpful idea, the same result can be achieved by using a browser on your phone to access the forums. Furthermore, the community, while large, is not exactly large enough to warrant an entire app being developed and paid for just to interface with other users easier than you would be able to with a browser.

I mean, I suppose a +1 if the dev team would be willing to put the time, money, and energy into developing one, but I seriously doubt that this will happen (at least for the time being). Though I do admit that, if it was specifically SS13/CM, it would be rather neat.

So you're pitching the idea that the devs put countless hours in addition to some money into an app that will save people about 10 seconds and provide them information that is readily available on either the forums or the wiki already.

I don't think this is possible with our small dev team right now. It's not a bad idea, just a lot of work for something really minor. Denied for now.
