Xenos can heal hosts (to prevent early death/griefing)

Post by GoliathTheDespoiler » 02 Apr 2017, 23:38

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Essentially, drones, or sentinels, get the ability to vomit a rejuvenating membrane over marines as a way to keep them alive long enough to hatch the larvae.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
This would help prevent griefing, allow for more larva to be hatched, and can help give people who are guarding hosts something to do.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
It'd probably be an option under "Alien" which can only heal infected marines (to prevent metagaming). And can be administered by drones or sentinels (or both)
Commander Joseph 'Goliath' Clancy, occaisonal Charlie SL. Widowed father of three. Sufferer of PTSD and extremely Australian.
Corpswoman Judith 'Mèrci' Clancy, quiet, caring daughter looking out for her siblings.
Warrant Officer Emile Clancy, Strict ex-police chief, now a tired CMP.
Xenomorph Queen 'Pandinus' ruler of the Alpha Hive. "I want more children!"
'R'ka Us'Tribi' Serpent Trapper, hateful predator.

This would just promote them to slash everyone into crit just to drag them to a nest therefore would just powergame the fuck out of marines.
Plus this is just a retarded suggestion. Xenos dont need more buffs.

The only healing that should be applied IMO is huggers ought to prevent oxygen damage while they are attached and alive. That's more lore-friendly and avoids the situation that @YungCuz mentioned.

Xenos already paincrit marines WITH the chance if them dying. This would be such bullshit and would just be a cycle of a xeno harming host, nesting, healing, letting them escape, repeat

A similar suggestion was denied, though it was about nests providing healing benefits.

I don't really see a point for this. Keeping hosts alive isn't all that difficult as things are now. Denied.
