Allowing autolathing will get rid of all the suggestions about naming equipment with a simple fix, more labelers.

Its better if they can also be protolathed such that the researchers and by extension, the Medical staff can have a supply of labelers in such a case of theirs getting stolen.

+1 Having one labeler available to marines in the conference room, which is stolen every now and then, is a pain in the ass for both marines that want to label their gear and also other departments, such as cargo or even chemistry when the chemmasters and dispensers are being used in both the research lab and chemistry lab.
