Automatic midis when the Aliens board the Sulaco

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Creating a more intense + better environment when the aliens board,without an admin needing to be online to manually insert a midis.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): When the queen acesses the console to send the rasputin or pod up (When the marines receive the message that the rasputin/pod is being hijacked),the server would automatically play a midis,choosen with a RNG chance in a variation of themes the admins could select.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): For this to happen,it would need a event to trigger it,potentially the queen acesssing the console to send the rasputin/pod UP.
I play Sydney 'Lilly' Wood, the totally not depressed doctor, And the marine Dylan Bell, that probably joined the USCM by accident.

-1, I see the appeal, but I'm not one that likes all the midis; Plus, it'll promote the idea of changing / managing a midi, and people will start asking for this or this.

It'll also break the 'magic' of having a rare-time midi popping up to boost the momemtum, and personally... I don't find MIDIs all that enjoyable.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Automatic Midi's and whatnot would make it lag since it has to load and no one enjoys lag. -1

+1 if it's only when the rasp crashes. Already a lag spike there so it wouldn't break stuff too bad.

I see your point,The lag is quite bad,however it only lags for a moment,then you can just continue whatever you were doing.

I haven't thinked about that,looks better then the idea it'self,but the coding would require to be very specific,since the midis would need to play at the very moment the rasputin or pod crashes.

When the proc that tells the rasp to crash triggers, pick a random number 1-10, assign that number to variable crashSound. if crashSound = 1, play midi 1, if crashSound = 2, play midi 2,

There are a few reasons we do not do this already, primarily that midis increase the file size, and it's hard to really make them thematically appropriate. Good idea, but not doable. Denied.
