Bug Description:Having the status of 'They are on Fire!' but no fire icon is present.
Steps to reproduce:
1.Be coated in something flammable (This i was sure about)
2.While Welding a vent or Scrubber if for any reason the welder touches your suit you are set ablaze but no fire icon is present [This is what i was doing at the time]
3.Note At this moment I was covered in Fireproof gear so i decided to go further with this, by removing my fire hat i confirmed taking fire damage before putting it back

It's because once you removed the your fire fighter hat the body heat starts givign you damage, pretty sure this is intended as the fire suit makes it so that you're resistant to having a high body temperature which causes the fire icon even when you're not on fire.

It seems as if you didn't have the on fire Sprite, but you were, and when you put a fire suit on it went away
Probably a graphical bug with the fire combined with a fire suit oversight

I reproduced it, I had a fire suit on when I was lit on fire and the sprite didn't appear, nor was I having the temperature icon or taking any burn damage at all, upon taking it off the sprite still did not appear, I resisted and extinguished myself.

Can't reproduce. I wear firefighter suit and helmet, I splash myself with fuel and hit myself with a lit weldingtool. The fire layer appears on me, and resisting works as intended.

Think this has to do with icon not updating. Very often xenos will have fire icon but not be on fire.
