Huggers always on top.
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Have active, living, armed, dangerous hugger sprites always on top of whatever sprite is on the ground.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): No more will young runner corpses perfectly hide two huggers instantly incapping any marine who walks near. Or any xeno corpses, they're all pretty hard to shoot, and in any kind of remote combat situation they're a deadly trap and not be design, you can't even click on the huggers to shoot them in a majority of the cases. Now I know what the obvious counter argument is going to be, "Marines can hide mines!!" That is not the topic please, no derails.
But getting instant hugged by two of the little things hiding under a xeno corpse is the worst feeling any player can imagine, I'd say even worse than getting burstfired in the back.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Either the carried huggers die with the xeno who dies, or the sprite is just shunted to the top of the corpse post death.
addendum, if this could only somehow apply to xeno corpses, that'd be the best.

Yes please, it's a bit frustrating to have to right click runners mid combat as it can potentially lag out your game as you check for huggers.

+1 It is quite annoying a creature that can leap at you is able to do it from under corpses, I would disagree it instahugs but I can see the frustration caused by huggers.

Of course gonna give a +1. No more paranoia when walking near crates or dead marines or infact dead aliens. Had an issue once a xeno died, two huggers were under and bam there I got huggered. I'd hope for when a xeno dies it squishes huggers under em but eh one can only dream for now I want this to be a thing.

+1, once in a while some poor hugged marine on the floor has a second hugger under him; and next thing you know someone spots it and tries taking out the hugger from range, making the hugged marine into a piece of cover for the damn thing.

-1, ambushing is pretty much THE spirit of xenos and this is one of the few ways xenos can do it.
Yes, this causes salt (but so do many things) but life is tough and running in blind is something that should be discouraged for both sides. Runners are discouraged of doing a hugger driveby with mines and marines are discouraged of blindly running after the xeno's with huggers under objects. A smart person will plan his route and check for suspicious objects while a dumb idiot will risk it running in blind and there should be a way to punish the marines in being dumb idiots.
When I get the taste of blood/acid in my mouth and blindly chase a marine/xeno only to get rekt by a mine/hugger it is my own god damn fault for not being patient and checking and the brutality of CM causing me salty tears is what makes me come back for more.

If you read the ammendum, this is more to stop runners dying, and their huggers that are under their corpses instantly infecting marines. I believe adjustment of sprites that there is ALWAYS a possibility of seeing a small part of it (apply it to mines too) is the go-to solution. +1 This, I think it'll be another lovely OP trick from the Xenos forceably removed from them and I don't like that because I play Xeno sometimes, however. It is pretty cheese to do that tactic.

I've had that happen to me a few times, returning from a fight only to get instantly hugged by a invisible hugger hiding beneath the full tile sprite of a Xeno corpse.

This might not be necessary if devs are planning on implementing hugger combat being removed. But I agree, huggers shouldn't be compared to mines, which is essentially what they're acting as in the situations described.
