Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):An eye implanet with a cam on it or a contact lent with a cam in it instead of the helmet with the cam.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):It will help command to not lose their only 4 eyes they have on the ground all the time so they can see the battle ground.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):The idea is to have an eye-cam implant in the SL locker , or a contact lent.In this way command don't have to deal with the helmet been broken and lost in the field , they can have a 24/7 feedback until the Sl died.

-1, just deal with the loss of a SL's helmet (or the loss of hugger protection for it) with Cargo or re-vending it.

-1 Having SL helmets revendable isn't a good idea (you already know why) but having implants for cameras isn't a sound idea either. SLs die, and through chain of command, Specialists, to medics, to Engineers, to, unfortunately, Private First Classes, receive the M11 Squad Leader helmet. I would never the camera be removable (as in, the helmet being taken off) over a permanent camera. Implants can be removed surgically, but that requires doctors.

It's not a huge issue now with the additional helmet in the machines and the removal of hugger combat.

i had a cool moment the other day where the so was instructing me on how to reach and put on the fallen sl's helmet so he could keep an eye on us and that just wouldnt be possible with eye implants

Denied.

Too much into the realms of sci-fi, we are trying to somewhat keep in a retro 80's style. It also makes it so you are unable to pass off the camera as people are eliminated in the chain of command.
