Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Adding cassettes next to the recorder in the brig / making cassettes printable in an autolathe or making recorders functioning without cassettes. By this making the recorder useful for MPs and/or CL for RP.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Generally speaking it would add more RP for MPs and the CL. For MPs this could be useful when processing players by getting a statement for example. The CL could also benefit from being able to use it in his interactions with survivors / other players.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
I don’t actually know if the recorder doesn’t work because there is no cassette in them or if they are just nonfunctioning currently, but either way fixing it to work without cassettes or adding just a few cassettes in the brig / making them printable could add to the roleplay.

Not exactly interesting or RP inducing, but I like it. +1

You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Re: Making universal recorders functioning.
I honestly don’t see how it would not be RP inducing. Could you explain why you think that?
As an MP I had times when the prisoner either wanted to give a statement or the CL insisted on a hearing. These are for purely RP since they are not necessary in a practical standpoint. CL could definably be able to RP with it with survivor, by recording conversation and maybe giving it to the command staff for review. This could also be practical since the command personnel could just skim through it to read the important bits. Now that I think about it, a recorder could also be used during an autopsy or by the medical researcher commenting during his/her work.

+1 I think this would be cooler for survivors rather than MP or CL, but I can see why the CL or MP would use it.

Re: Making universal recorders functioning.
Yes my Roleplay is fucking ruined when I can't make those final recording as a Survivor.
Or I can't fucking interview a colonist/survivor that's just arrived into my fancy office and I want to have it on record so I don't have to copy and paste the entire thing onto a notepad.
Or maybe as an MP I like interviewing a prisoner for the roleplay sake.
