Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Remove xeno's ability to pounce at x % of their HP.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Makes the speed nerf more viable to the castes its supposed to nerf for when they are damaged. Right now, speed nerf means nothing to runners and hunters because when they get low on HP they can depend on their ultra fast pounces and injured speed to get out of almost any situation except cuckshot or being flanked on all sides if they play their cards right.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Makes the injured speed nerf more of an actual nerf.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Coding.

There's multiple times where being injured doesn't even really matter when you can jump all around everywhere in the next few seconds. Moreso on ancient ones.

The pounce is the one ability that the castes use to dodge in and out of a large group of marines, removing it after what is basically 1-2 shots as runners/hunters have low HP, would mean they cant really pounce for a large amount of their play. While in premise I understand where your coming from, hunters/runners most of the time are very good at getting in and out of combat, but that is literally what they are meant for, hit and run tactics is there game, making them slower would damage or remove those hit and run tactics they rely on.

I agree with this. The speed nerf when wounded, at least I've gathered, was sort've negated because of this, and disabling their pounce seems like a good solution.
I think Ravagers should keep their charge, though. More or less because they're berserkers, and glass cannons.

Ravagers are T3, and are much more important than Runners and Hunters, hence removing their one combat ability is stupid. Hence they should keep it.Boltersam wrote:I agree with this. But the pounce, while important, is not how good hunters / runners kill people; tackle spam and attrition combat is. The speed nerf was supposed to make this even more dangerous to do and make xenos think twice about rushing into the marines, but thats negated by the fact that they can just pounce away as fast as they can run while at full health. So really, they never got an actual speed nerf.

With the Speed/Health Nerf already in place this isnt needed, Pounce is also used to escape areas as well.
Though, I'm not against reducing its range.

Thats the point, pounce is used to escape areas, which negates the speed nerf entirely as you can pounce across the screen as fast as moving at original speed when not wounded.Butterrobber202 wrote:-1
