Bug Description:
The sound system makes it so that once you hover around any source of sound it handles it upgrades said sound to x3 or so, clearly deafening me and actually HURTING my ears.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Die, ghost.
2. Move near a firing line.
3. Shoot a couple of rounds to let those good ol' ears bleed.

CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Were you on said tile with the perpetrator firing the gun or a few times away?

In a 2-tile radius around the weapon being fired, at maximum.
