Suggestion Title: Making Warrior's Tackle Last Less

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): I Think We Should Make It Last Less

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): No MORE Of A Damn Alien Warrior's Suddenly Speed Running At You, Tackling You Down For Like, Forever, And Easily Bring You From Arrivals, To Medbay In Very Short Time, And You Still Down...

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): I Think This Would Work Easy, Warriors Are Very, VERY, Fast Aliens, They Are Like Runners, Expect Slower, But Still, VERY,VERY,FAST, They Tackle Lasts Ridiclously Long, Longer Than Praet Or Even Any Other Classes (Expect Queen And Super Neuro And Pounce Tackle And Etc) They Can Run Fast While Pulling You, And Even If You Stand Up And Try To Run Off, He Tackles You Back Again And Pulls You 666 Fucking Kilometres, Seriously, I Undestand Sentinel Cast And Drone Having Huge One, But Why On Earth Warrior? Its Not Like They Always Had A Problem With Tackling Marines Or Hugging Them And Running Off, But Common, A Xenomorph That Can Run Fast As Hell And Pull Marines With No Problem? Yea....NO

as a compromise it might be abit better if the act of pulling something slowed them down to abit, maybe when pulling something they could have the speed of a drone (drones, on WEEDS speed, not their regular, lord knows drones are slow as all fuck when they arent on weeds)

the pounce needs to last long enough for it to be worth using at all but i agree its ridiculous how fast warriors can move, by the time you are back up you better believe pounce has regenerated, perhaps increasing the cooldown times or the plasma costs could work as well (this could likewise facilitate a need for better alien teamwork since warrs may need plasma to pounce alot but their regen sucks, whereas hivelords and drones and so on could transfer the plasma they would need to use it)

can't we just have it so warriors need to grab instead of pull.. ? or would that be too slow ?

Sometimes the Warriors won't even bother tackling or pouncing you. Played a round where a Warrior just walked up, grabbed me, and pulled me away from my friends BEFORE tackling me and pulling me into a makeshift nest.

I couldn't do anything because I had been typing at the time.

I can't tell if you're suggesting that Warriors get nerfed because you were typing.

at bare minimum those few involved in this discussion at least mostly seem in agreement that something has to be done about warrior speed at least when pulling someone, if not a permanent change perhaps it would be possible to make mods during a few rounds as a sort of playtest to get feedback from a larger portion of the community on the nature of the issue?

Yus. Nerf warriors to stand still when people are typing! MASTER MARINE RACE HYAAAA!

I dunno. Just something I felt the need to share, though I see now it doesn't have much weight to it. Ah well. I think we should do something to reduce the Warrior's speed so that it can't drag a downed marine through an entire station, the ring of fire, and the length of Africa before the marine can stand back up.

I have to admit it's pretty infuriating to be hit/tackle spammed, spending the next minute or two on the ground with no way to defend yourself. If you're out on your own, it's one thing, but pounce is an autohit, unlike say neurotoxin which can be evaded by juking. The riot shield is the only thing I know that stops it, and that's only if it's head on, 50/50 chance if they come at you from a diagonal (which is probably 60-80% of the time) the riot shield won't even facing the right way to block it even with you shooting at the warrior.

It is no longer possible to "combat nest". The subject needs to be on the ground tackled.

My suggestion would be to decrease the chance or the time length of it. Then possibly buff sentinels tackle? There Nero toxin lasts 3-4 seconds? So having an extra second on there tackle would be nice. Saying this as aliens have had a good ammount of nerfs, combat engineers got super nerfed, so I think we should be trying to balance out what we take away.

Well i think now reading up on the warrior and such it needs to be less OP and it's abilities shared out so that the aliens will have more balanced alien castes to play instead of just one OP caste to play.

The idea is to move the tackle from the warrior to the sentinel and then follow this up with Selka's ideas above.

The warrior could keep the pounce as the runner can also pounce so it makes sense but the speed i am still unsure of which caste to give it to....
