Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Per title, pressing on the "view squad manifest" verb as a squaddie will open up a crew manifest-like windows that lists the names, occupation, rank, and fireteam of their squad mates, in descending order of rank. Bonus points if you can edit fireteams from it as an SL. Bonusestesterest points if you can send direct messages to another squaddie via this thing, though then you'd need to justify the manifest as being an actual item like a squad PDA.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
I'm tired of having to manually add notes for the names of my CPL+ squaddies. Also like, it's your squad, you should know how many people there are in it and what they do.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
View crew manifest but four of them per squad and aimed to be useful for squaddies. Kinda like the marine version of a hive status.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Probably butcher and desecrate the view manifest code... which currently crashes the PDA when you try to open the manifest... hmm.

We pulled a lotta PDA stuff out because people would put their ID's in them and it caused a lot of issues with ID recognition.

+1 to this. It's a serious QoL change for SLs, and could be helpful for other squad roles too, especially those leading fire teams.

Wouldn't hurt, but I don't think it's much needed. I am not interested in who is awake, I want to know whom I can rely on. If I don't see a squadmate at briefing, on the dropship, at regroups, I don't care if he is alive. Similarly if an engineer is needed, it doesn't help if I knew there is one somewhere alive.
