Dropship attachment improvements

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Two ideas, small enough so i dont belive they require a seperate post

Have weapons such as the minirocket launcher and the GAU, if you shift click them, be able to tell how much ammo is left, this info is available to the PO, but not to the MT's who are reloading

Make ammo boxes, such as the 30MM ammo and mini-rockets mergeable, for example, if one box of 30mm ammo has 60 rounds, and one has 100, being able to combine the boxes to create one that has 160

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): mainly QOL improvements

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): as summarized

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): coding

+1 only the PO knows what the go is for ammunition usually

Neutral on this overall as its two suggestions. Suggestion #2 I like and would upvote the suggestion for that. But I can't see you being able to visibly count 121 out of 122 shells at a glance.

You can tell the exact number of rounds in a random magazine for the floor at a glace, might as well have the same for this.

Indeed you can. Not 100% sure but I don't think you can see how much M36 or a Shotgun ammo a person has in their gun while they hold it. How I thought the system was treating it right now the Ship is a container, the guns and rocket pods are containers and the ammo is within a container (this one I'm shakey on since we can't reload them). All told the ammo would be three containers deep.

In my mind this would be the same as being able to see the continets of a pill bottle that was placed inside a box, inside a person backpack while they were still wearing the backpack. If I'm wrong thats fine I play MT & PO and either way that helps me. This part of the suggestion should really be split off so the other idea isn't buried.

Main reason I'm iffy about the whole see the ammo thing is its really one of the few RP moments the PO has with the MT outside. Otherwise the PO inside the ship would just kinda twiddle his thumbs silent or begging for a laser.

if you are worried about realisms or rps just say that the devices/containers have digital readouts that keep count of the ammos and your problems are all over

They do have a display....its just in the cockpit computer...thats not about RP....to shift CLICK the gun you'd need to but a LCD display on the gun. Whichi s doable since they are on the M36 and the M41a already which bypasses the whole nested containers issue.
