ON/OFF Turret System for the Dropships
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Allow to the Pilots of the Almayer/Normandy (Dropships) to turn ON/OFF the Turrets.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
This would help on the Dropship Inmersion and a little bit and avoid the waste of bullets fired near the dropship ,also the chance for the Dropship Pilote to turn the Dropship into a Cargo/Evac Ship into an attack one (Soo then we dont need to use the 2nd one all the times to attack and more),also the turrets of the Dropships are considerated the worst enemy of the Colonists (Due No ID) and 2/4 of them die by the turret system.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): On the Pilot Cockpit a little button (or in the Console) to "Disable [Name of the Ship] Turrets",then the turrets should be turned in some "No Power" System (Non working till the PO Activates it again),this would be a huge assist on the Mission of Escorting Colonists on the Dropships, allowing them to enter with no problem and no danger at all (Not more dead colonists on the LZ1/2 for a Turret).
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): It may require a little bit of scripting.

I had to save a survivors life I really shouldn't have needed to because a turret went ham on him. +1 to stop this from happening again.

Hey! Don't touch those turrets! I use them as indicator of competent marines among newbies and rookies!
Seriously, though, -1. Because if this WILL be implemented, every round there will be some idiot who will switch it off and forget about it, resulting in beheaded PO and few wpunded on DS, including medic.

Re: ON/OFF Turret System for the Dropships
Actually, the system should be added just on the pilot cockpit (The area where seats the pilot, not in the passenger area).Sometimes the turrets of the Alamo/Almayer can be a little buggy and try to shoot who is inside with no ID + the turrets are commonly known as: Survivor Killers. Also this post is to upgrade not to downgrade the Alamo/Almayer system and Roleplay.

+1 Thinking you've survived only to get gunned down by the Alamos turrets is only funny so many times.

Re: ON/OFF Turret System for the Dropships
Sounds like a good suggestion, and seems doable. The interface can be adapted from the Fire Mission weapon selection buttons in a similar way for the turrets to be toggled on/off, and there's already sprites for when the Gauss turrets are deployed or stowed away at their hardpoints. +1
