Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): the vertical breaching kit creates a new hole in the floor/ceiling and new ladders to climb up/down

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): makes the underground of ice colony and the underground of any future maps slightly less of a one-sided deathtrap by allowing marines to break a new entrance/exit at their choosing to create a foothold or escape route

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): its a kit that drills/explodes a hole up/down and drops/raises a ladder to use. only works if there is empty space above/below you on the other corresponding part of the map

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): sorry, i dont know enough about how your ladders and maps work. maybe you would have to limit it to creating new ladders at certain pre-determined points marked with caution tape or something if allowing it to be freely deployed is too complex

I like it but as papa feweh says, the game is balanced so that xenos win the majority of the time so this item might be a bit too fun game changing.

I don't play command, why isn't LZ-2 used as an FOB more often if the ladders are so lethal? It's on the underground Z-level, as I recall.

I think that this would be incredibly hard to code for not much gain, -1
