Nerf Flamethrower(READ BEFORE COMMENTING)

READ THE POST BEFORE COMMENTING

Suggestion Title:Nerf Flamethrower

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):As of now the Flamethrower is too OP for the server to handle without lagging to shit. Usage of the flamethrower doesn't do much more than lag the living hell out of the server. It is not OP vs the aliens persay, but VS the Server CPU.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):Less lag.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):Nerf it's radius or affected tiles/range

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):Change the code yo?

i'm fairly sure the flamethrower does no damage so how it be nerfed..

Flamethrower is just useless, i been in a fire as a alien before, never got dealt damage, it just lags server and keeps being useless

Flamethrowers are placebo weapons. They don't do anything besides contribute to the ever-growing friendly fire statistics.

I read it. I just chose to ignore the lag issue and instead highlight another concern pertaining to the matter.

Um, flamethrowers cause NO LAG.

I've tested this extensivly, AND, so long as noone uses kill atmos, there's no issues.

Flame, does not heat atmosphere, and it burns based off fuel, not phoron.

All I know is, it did when I made the thread. It lagged the ever living hell out of the server whenever it was fired.

Perhaps there was something else going on when the lag occurred. Think about it like this, correlation does not mean causation.
