I agree it could possibly lead to that as well but i'm hoping it won't as the same possibility can also be applied to the PMC event but there won't any Rambo's that I saw.


On another note I have been thinking something through In my head which is that the alien researching stuff will be under attack and the marines researcher won't be attacked until late game so i'm proposing the fact that maybe the researcher will have to keep going to nostromos and back to gather materials needed , well something like that.

Any input into the above statement would be appreciated.

Perhaps a special type of wall that acts like a fixed locker, that aliens can hide in, bit like they hid on the walls in AVP? Could be interesting for sentinals to literally start pouring from the walls, MWHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Yeah, true enough... Although, seeing the Ravager come roaring outta the walls, only for the marines to laugh at it would be worth it. :D

So, I've read over this, and here's my conclusions:

1. Tech points will never carry from round-to-round. It would sort of "break" the entire established meta of the game.
2. Aliens will never be have "tech". That's not how they work. Maybe, something might be added, to sort of "unlock" the higher tiers, but I don't want to have alien abilities locked.
3. The marine new tech, would have to be VERY CAREFULLY balanced against the aliens, because otherwise it could be VERY OP, VERY quickly.

I see that this has some promise, but at the same time, it's very unbalancing, and it would require MONTHS to YEARS of coding to get it incorporated properly, and that's time we don't exactly have, when we are still working on the BASICS of the alpha (devs keep adding features, and ignoring the base bugs/problems).

If parts of this were incorporated, it wouldn't be for a very long time, unless I got a LOT more coders.
