Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):

Making pounce slightly more difficult to use. Perhaps through making the alien jump in a linear way rather than auto locking on.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):

It will increase the difficulty for aliens as pounce is too easy to use currently.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):

Well, the aliens currently just have to run rings around the marine and mash the pounce button until it hits them. The only saving grace is if it accidentally locks onto another marine. If the alien had a more streamlined pounce (doesnt have to be linear) the marines could at least have a chance to dodge and the alien will have to line up an attack. The aliens would need to give more input in order to capture prey.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

Like I said earlier. Making the pounce leap in a linear way for a certain number of tiles or until it hits a wall could make it less sketchy than it currently is.

Also, as I reread the text I can say that the change would also remove the pesky wrong lock aliens encounter when pouncing with more than 1 marine in proximity.

I do like this idea. Their pounce should refresh faster if they have to aim it though.

As long as this doesn't result in pounce spam it should be good.
