New Event ( Changeling)
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): So 2-5 changelings spawn as survivors, and they have a objective to absorb a certain marine, or the commander, or just absorb a certain amount.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Mixing things up
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): The survivors spawn as changelings and need to kill the marines or absorb as many as possible, and then they could imitate a marine and ABSORB more marines. ( Xeno morphs will still be on station just facehuggers would fail on the Lings, give them a message like: The facehugger refuses to latch on to [Name]! ) Or only 2 survivors are Lings and the others are normal. And the Lings just need to absorb as many marines as possible, and survive to THE END.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Code, code, and more code!

Sadly, custom events are not allowed.

So what? They can still make suggestions for it can't they? I find it extremely unlikely that it's going to continue being disallowed. Even if it does for a while, adding to rounds manually goes pretty much hand in hand with SS13 communities, i don't see how we are any different.

I +1 this idea all around. I really like how clever it is with the Survivors being the Lings and what not. However the Aliens would probably try to kill them since they can't infect them...

A few days ago apophis made a spooky event, spawning a huge xeno with mad speed to tackle marines and run away (while also playing dead's space spooky sound). Custom events aren't really banned as we think... and this would be better than shitty objective events that lead nowhere besides making marines lose time, eventually getting massacred by xenos because they couldn't ignore the objectives.

Yes, little events like that are what we should have back, as well as things like the occasional player-as-the-cat, renamed flaremanders, and the occasion shade to haunt the mindbreaker-taking medic.
