Actually, the walls are also changed - now they are smoothly connected, it looks really nice.

I Think the tiles you are referring too are what are used in TG, instead of being blackvines its like a blue purple carpet with little glowing blue dots. They also have a sprite for alien nests that places a blanket over captured humans.

Oh, like glowing Resin? I was actually going to suggest that a while back, Paradise has it. I'd love to import the Hunter Pounce instead of what we have (the Alien in the banner pouncing through the 'O' in Colonial is the sprite of a pouncing hunter)

That sounds really cool and I think it's a really good Idea as well!

Those sprites are good, probably a lot better for the resin than what we have now. And the walls were actually gonna be made so it's smooth when connected thogeter like on other servers, but it hasn't been done yet.

Infestation mode in CM is just a successor and expansion of vanilla alien stuff in ss13, and /tg/ have it since always.

I wonder if their bullets stop at whatever resin they clicked like it does with our code.

I think the floor change is better than ours, as it would make things a bit easier to identify in hectic situations. That being said, wouldn't it make warriors easier to see when they use their "stalk"?
TLDR: Go back and read it. I spent time writing that, ya know.

Not really, it makes it better, though TG uses different sprites for some of its xenos.

+1 Incase I didn't do it before. Our weeds are are a pain in the ass. Purple sacks and herpes, not so much an infestation as much as somebody mixed grape jam into spaghetti and throw it over the floor.
For those who don't know, those blue specs in the resin are 'glowing resin', they don't actually produce light (or at least, only light their tile) and spread the resin like sacs do weeds. The resin acts like a floor tile, so it /should/ remove that annoying 'shoot the weeds' bug. Durability of the resin shouldn't diminish, I have no idea if this would affect our weedkiller grenades since Xeno's on Paradise/TG is usually a mass evacuation/deathsquad event. Nobody bothers trying to clear the weeds after Security inevitably gets their shit kicked in and infested.

I feel that given the alpha, it might be relevant to bring this up.
Also, +1ing it.

hilarious enough, the 'floor tiles" they are using, are actually our old space-floor tiles...

You say that now, until a xeno drags you to a space-hive with no atmosphere.

I believe what he means is that we prefer the textures, not the location, sir.
