Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Bring back PDA's for non-marine sulaco workers.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Allow people to send messages without cluttering up the radio chat. Also allows LO's to have a on hand crew manifest.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Basically just a normal PDA, it could have it's own slot like in some servers so that room isn't taken up possibly allowing for marines to have their own as well. It would make the pAI more helpful for squad leaders as well because they could send messages to medical before hand, once again, without cluttering up the radio chat.

If you would permaban a player, you owe it to him to look into his logs and hear his side of the story. And if you cannot bear to do that, then perhaps the player does not deserve to be banned.

+1 PDAs are pretty damn useful all around. Flashlight, ROM cards, Messaging, Manifests and even general time keeping. PDA's fit on the ID slot anyways, so even if we don't get a custom PDA slot everyone can still wear one. Put your ID on to change your armor and helmet color, then put your ID in the PDA and wear the pda.

+1, Thing is admins ain't bothering on putting on a PDA messagery server, that's why they were useless before, but they still were just a passive object that was useful for some tasks, FL, pAI holder, Manifiest, etc....

PDAs will not be returning.
Firstly: No Messaging servers
Secondly: There is a new item I'm working on, for Squad Leaders, to take it's place.
Thirdly: The flashlight in the PDA, is nothing compared to any other slot flashlight (It's illumination 1, the standard flashlight is illumination 7)
Not to mention, the trouble there will be, with flashlights on the PDA interfering with the illum count from rifles and such.
