Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): The telecomms coolant computer on Sulaco is accessible to everyone, leading to the opportunity for griefers to overheat the system and cause comms to crash.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): By moving it to the other side of the door, we can stop people from just accessing it. Although a Commander, LO, or Engineer could break in, at least it would give us more time to notice someone messing with it.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Stop griefing. This happened one round, and with no admins on, the entire Sulaco had their comms down for the rest of the round.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): As easy as moving an object over.

Sounds like there needs to be more admins on.
Or deal with it ICLY instead of solving everything OOCLY which it seems this community always wants to do.
Some kid fucks with the coolant? Arrest and rebuild it. Anyway even if you do limit it the chance of griefing does lower but isn't eliminated.
I suggest having a back up for the coolant that players can set up easily, this is for when admins aren't on.

Although I do a lot of Engineering, I don't know how to build coolants, or if we even have the materials to build it in character. And once the telecomms overheats, it's just plain fucked.EastGermanStasi wrote:Sounds like there needs to be more admins on.

Its a bit of a rare problem, this has only happened one time in the history of the entire server.
