Backpacks in Lockers
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Add spare backpacks into the role setup lockers (such as the squad prep area lockers, the LO extra lockers) just like in the commanders.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
New players who show up either from being a survivor or spawning in without one (woops) will have a way to get a spare backpack. Would probably stop SSD players from being robbed as much too.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Just put the respective kind of back wear into the preparation lockers and spare lockers (IE: Satchels into the LO lockers, Backpacks into the squad prep areas).

Re: Backpacks in Lockers
If we add another item to the lockers, that's another item that's going to sit on the ground and take up space since it's so infrequently needed that just slows everything down.

In that case, simply put it in the storage area instead of all the lockers. It's the storage area so it should have a few spares here and there just in case a marine is stripped of one (for some reason or another) or doesn't have one.apophis775 wrote:If we add another item to the lockers, that's another item that's going to sit on the ground and take up space since it's so infrequently needed that just slows everything down.

MFW "Quality of Life" and "Military" are ever NEAR the same sentence.

I don't usually see anyone picking up backpacks as they're spawned with one... I usually pick up Engineer Backpack as Engineer.... So..

Lol, good thing this isn't the military, it's a game server.apophis775 wrote:MFW "Quality of Life" and "Military" are ever NEAR the same sentence.
I'm just saying put some extra's here and there or something for that one dude who does forget his backpack, loses it in the nostromo, or anything of the matter.

Re: Backpacks in Lockers
I've added extra backpacks to the generic marine lockers in the Armory. That should do it.
