Then close the topic and delete it. In normal servers, every one I've played on except for this apparently, your character immediately dies when you ghost. Apparently Its different here. The larvae system in alpha will fix it too, with the inability to take it out and it slowly killing you.
I'll chalk this up under my "Will be fixed in alpha so stop whining" suggestions.

No offense but:
If your just sitting and talking in deadchat with xeno preference off, your doing nothing but hurting the server, just like the people who observe at the start of the game.
