Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): What the title says, give larva the ability to clear used eggs
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): By giving larva some arbitrary task while they grow that won't endanger them
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): ^
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They are tiny with no hands but JUST a mouth and how the heck are they supposed to consume something that is the size of a half a meter box?RoswellRay wrote: Why not? They consume the remaining organic material, like worms.
It would just make no sense.
1.They are to grow up to become xenos to serve the queen,
2.They are to survive and obey rule one,
3. How does this benefit anybody? Sure the hive would look slightly better but seriously they are children.

Them suddenly growing ten times their size doesn't make much sense either. A lot of this game doesn't make sense, same with randomly healing bullet wounds by plasma,it's a game.
It would just be something for them to do other than stand still for 5 minutes, and when the hive is being assaulted, sometimes as a queen it is a bit of a pain clearing as you lay.
And what exactly is wrong with children contributing in some way to the hive, most species in the wild use their children for something productive, even humans.

Actually, the bullets melt once they penetrate the chitin, and the plasma regrows it,pretty sureRoswellRay wrote:Them suddenly growing ten times their size doesn't make much sense either. A lot of this game doesn't make sense, same with randomly healing bullet wounds by plasma,it's a game.

As for the suggestion..larvas can actually hide under eggs, both grown and opened

Hah, No, Jones, you ever saw any of the movies? If a bullet penetrates the caparace the fucking shit is, like Hudson's M3 armour reads "Contents under pressure"coroneljones wrote: Actually, the bullets melt once they penetrate the chitin, and the plasma regrows it,pretty sure

Aliens blow up the moment some bullets touch it, It's a major canon breaker the plasma regeneration, and I hope it gets deleted in the new major alien rebalance in the alpha.
It makes literally no sense for an alien to regenerate.

It wouldn't hurt to implement this. At least, a Larva can actually do something.

No reason to not allow Larva to clear eggs.. helps clean up lag a bit as well.

Actually, thats more because the marines use an explosive caseless round then because the xenos are under pressure.MrGabol100 wrote: Hah, No, Jones, you ever saw any of the movies? If a bullet penetrates the caparace the fucking shit is, like Hudson's M3 armour reads "Contents under pressure"

Neway, this isn't exactly balance-altering and it would be something for them to do whilst growing in the hive, since many players seem unable to clean up after themselves when they have the time...
+1 from me for this.

Re: Larva clearing used eggs
Denied. This seems irrelevent. Larva should focus on HIDING.
