+1, it's stupid to have aliens building walls in the middle of combat

Just to clarify, This "abuse" is really just a mechanic that has been apart of the game since the dawn of its birth... Making things an "easier time for the marines" is saying you blantlety want xenomorphs nerfed.SASoperative wrote: Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Make Resin building have a timer and have to stand still like girders to prevent this 'abuse'
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): It would result in a easier time for marines and make things a bit more realistic
My opinion, Its been working for years and hasn't been changed. So if it isn't broken don't fix it.

Can't stress enough how much I agree with this.Atpot wrote:

100% agree. Marines are still winning most of the time that I've seen anyway. TL;DR Git gud and don't rambo chase aliens by yourself.

Now see. Thats a issue I am seeing here. You instantly assume that I made this to directly nerf Xenomorphs, I have pure intentions for balance in this game and a grille takes all of 2 seconds. Two seconds is not that long. Thats all the time I am asking for. I am staff and I wish for both sides to be balanced if possible but I am just trying to make things a bit less... Arcade like is what I want to say but that's not really the right word. Regardless, This suggestion to be honest I want closed soon enough as this was meant for the old server. Not Alpha.Atpot wrote: Just to clarify, This "abuse" is really just a mechanic that has been apart of the game since the dawn of its birth... Gotchya, The way I interpreted as I said before, was asking for a nerf. Sorry for the misinterpretation, I strive for balance in the game as well for I love playing both sides.SASoperative wrote: Now see. Thats a issue I am seeing here. +1 For the extreme side, let's say, you make a room really fucking fast, like, 30 seconds, in 15 seconds the room's ready, not so high numbers, and disables completely the combat function of it. But down the plasma cost to 25 or so for resin structures.Wutnold124 wrote: That's actually a very good idea. It should probably be upped to something like 45 seconds, maybe a minute. Ten seconds is too short for something even slightly damp to dry out.

I'll make a separate suggestion for clarity. Sound good?
