CM Version (alpha or Regular):
Alpha
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Plasma casters, especially with heavy bolts, are ridiculous versus Xenomorphs. There is something in the honor code saying that the Predators sometimes have to even the odds with their prey, by not using their Plasma Caster or something. But this has been taken out in the honor code we have on the forums.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
No more Aliens being two hit by heavy Plasma Casters,
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
1. Hunting Worthy Game: When hunting, the hunter must be sure that his prey is considered game, and lawful to kill. Sometimes the hunter will equal the odds (not using a Plasma Caster or some other weapon). Worthy game must fill the following criteria: Can defend itself and/or is able to kill the hunter himself, of age (killing children and the elderly is considered the height of bad manners,) not linked to other lives (so that removing the prey will not doom another, e.g. pregnant women), one who is struck with diseases, and/or unwilling to be hunted.
Hunting Marines with the Caster should be fine, since they have ranged weapons as well, or even Sentinels, too. But trying to kill a Predator using a heavy Caster is like trying to kill a God.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Edit the honor code to implement the equaling the odds bit, or nerf Plasma Casters

Sometimes
They don't have to. They're supposed to restrain from using it in one on one combat, and use it to eliminate obstacles to their true prey. However, its completely under their judgement as to whether or not they want to use it.

Re: PLASMA CASTERS
Predators are still a WIP.
They'll be whitelisted soon and sorted out smoothly soon. It's extremely canon for the plasma cannon to kill anything basically in one shot... Yet in the movies and comics the predators never really use them unless in dire need or dis-honorable combat.. Example: 3 marines chasing after him firing.
