Aliums Chairbuckling
CM Version (alpha or Regular):
Both
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Remove the ability for aliens to buckle humans into chairs.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Every so often some chucklefuck alium will start buckling marines into chairs during combat. On the shuttle in particular.
However amusing it may be to try imagine it happening in 3D, it ruins muh immursions and it's straight up powergaming.

Re: Aliums Chairbuckling
There's a slight issue with that being I'm sure the admins would have to figure out how to filter marines and aliens with buckling. Aliens need to buckle themselves in still because like marines they fall to the ground if not secured.
Otherwise they need to make it so aliens DO NOT fall over on shuttle launch and remove alien buckling entirely, but that would also disallow them from being able to buckle humans to nests, which is sort of a big deal.

Really hard to take your suggestion seriously when you purposely spell Aliens wrong.
It is silly, but I think it might be hardcoded

BACK TO THE SUBJECT...
I'm neutral on this. I know aliens likes to buckle themselves on the shuttle, I don't see how that changes the gameplay unless Marine is in the shuttle unbuckled.

Haha, noticed it after the fact.. mobile phones can be brutal, especially with no auto-correct.

+1. Another silly thing aliens can but shouldn't be able to do.

Yeah, kind of ironic. But aliums, that's just... I guess for me some people, a way of life, a higher dimension of grammar, it is called... alium-ness, and it is a cult of people who call aliens aliums. But in all serious-ness +1 I don't want ali- ums ens doing this to me

This is.... not possible? Well I guess it /could/ be but then again buckling is the way xenos get people into nest or by the same method. I don't think its a big deal.

I've seen it happen before. When aliens facehug they'll use beds, chairs, or even roller beds to secure people, which is metagame of human tech.Mordrehel wrote:This is.... not possible? Think of it more like preventive tasks.. Because even if you report it. The deed is done and they've succeeded.Mordrehel wrote:Meta gaming is against the rules.... I still don't see the issue here :P

Re: Aliums Chairbuckling
It's more of people do it by accident due to rapidly clicking on a person who is standing on a chair tile so it may be for the best if this was done.
