Decrease the amount of grenades SLs and Specialists get in their vendors.

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): As title states. Dumb down the amount of grenades that SLs/specialists get to 2 for each vendor. There is no reason at all for the marines to have a total of five grenades to not only completely spam a single area with, but also to prevent any future fatalities that are sure to occur in the near future. 40 grenades for one team is not a joke. Grenades are meant to fuck over enemy combatants sitting in a chokepoint, or flush them out of an area so that the operator can gain a better position in the confrontation. Proxy mines already exist in area denial scenarios. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON FRISBEE MINES.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): 'Less is more.' Allowing for situations for SLs/specialists to think before deciding to throw a grenade, hence the entire purpose of a grenade.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): See above.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Once again, see above. Reduce the amount of available grenades for player accountability. There is no reason a marine should be carrying around this many grenades.

Except this change would utterly make the grenade launcher worthless, which is already a problem since if you buy the launcher you only get five grenades unless you beg other people for their nades/order more on.

I get more rockets then I do grenades.

I think that they should have about two to three grenades if they dont get a grenade launcher, that way they have a few but not too many.

Simple solution to this, then.

Specialists get a weapon pack alongside the MGL with additional grenades to use. 3 more than the standard issued 2. Good?

No, aliens get acid and such, marines get grenades, and 5 is the minimum for the specialist since that's a full clip of his military issue grenade launcher. If a marine uses them to bust into a nest, congrats to them, its their intended purpose. And three to the standard 2 would be stupid. 5 to the standard 2, that would be at MINIMUM what you should get if you go grenade launcher.

no. this would weaken the marines ever much more against the aliens. with the aliens new acid. their already much stronger than the marines. grenades are the one small thing(if used properly) able to defeat tier three aliens. though one annoying thing. with the large number of new players who dont know how to use grenades an end up blowing up half the marines defending a location. heck if anything there should be a way to get a large quantity more(late game). and some way to restrict the use of grenades to people who have proven to be capable with them

Marines use grenades for their intended purpose. People want it nerfed. We should lower ammo down to 5 mags a vendor too, they have too much ammo. Like seriously, you always see marines just running in and laying down fire everywhere. -1

Not gonna lie but suicide bomber marines are really common now... it would be better if we just had two grenades per specialist/SL then have a bigger storage on weaker grenades that can only be set off if you use them via a grenade launcher.

( Just a possible idea to kind of help this )

I don't see grenades as overpowered. The blast radius is not that large. Jihad marines aren't too terribly common from what I've seen and typically are fairly late match anyways (which is when they would occur due to all the shit they've seen anyways). "Less is More" seems antithetical to the approach the USCM has to problems which is to bring overwhelming firepower. -1
