NEW CLASS: AMMO BEARER

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):A new class, the ammo bearer (Probably a bad Name, can be changed :P) His Job will be to hoard the ammo for the other squad members and he gets a Special Bag which can hold a shit ton of ammo.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):You don't need to bring a bagpack full of ammo belts to war or loot the corpses of your fellow marines.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):Either a new Squad Class, or just a backpack for the specialist or something. The backpack should be able to carry a shit ton of ammo, but have some negatives, like make you slower, or something like that. Maybe add a vest, so you can wear the backpack, but the vest works like a heavy space suit or armour and slows you down. It would help the marines alot and it's kind of not OP, since he is slower and is a easy target.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):Same like above.

The canister should be added to the specialist, I guess or the SL. But having a shit ton of ammo is OP kind of.

Ammo cans are one-handed storage cans that hold an absurd amount of ammo. I think it's around 18+ magazines or shell boxes. The DOWNSIDE is that it cannot be stored anywhere so you have to carry it. Meaning you either load out with an SMG, or you carry it for short bursts and drop it to shoot.

To me, I don't find this necessary.
Marines are perfectly capable of bringing all the ammo they need.
I know it can be cramped at times being an engineer or medic but that's essentially part of the job.
You are given a box in your backpack, use it.
If you manage to drain all of your ammunition then you are either the best soldier out there or a complete waste of supplies.
Speaking of supplies, there is a reason why we were recently given beacons; ordering more ammo and equipment if it's actually needed.
I wouldn't mind seeing a specific ammo pouch that purely holds ammo but having a member designated to do so is silly to me.

Yeah, I guess having a designated squad member is a bad idea for that, but could be rather usefull to have ammo puch somewhere at FoB. Or having only RO be able to order ammo pouches.

He's right though. We have supply drops now. We don't necessarily need ammo cans, just competent SLs and Overwatches.

They do, and that's exactly what Apophis had those empty boxes put in for.

It's not too hard to re-add the old ammo pouches (I think), they also look cool, and add to the RP. the RO could send more ammo down, easier with them.

24 slots for ammo. Could have shotgun's ammo boxes.

I think, I'm against it. With supply drops it's not so necessary.
