Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): It will let us not have to empty shotgun shell boxes, fold them, then re fold them to get normal boxes.

EDIT: Withdrawing my vote, it seems unlikely for RO to order boxes when everyone goes MUH WEBBING RED DOT, but anything that gives RO something more to do than the initial WEBBING RED DOT rush is welcome.
