I like this idea or changing the colors for armor or helmets, or some other distinct color to every role. It gets increasingly frustrating when as the CO you notice that squads aren't following your orders because they can't find their squads. It takes forever for marines to get organized.

+1 I really like the idea to marine HUDs.

Played a round today with sec HUD as marine, lots of fun.
We really need it for all boys and girls in uniform.
(It didnt show squads, but role icons were in grey, so can be coloured easily)

Agreed, improved recognizing system and improved tactical management.

I don't know how overwatch works code-wise, but it'd be neat to have this incorporated into the overwatch console as well. And +1 to using the color Sec HUD overlay although there would probably have to be some changes to the Health HUD to fit them both in.

If the "HUD effect" can be linked to armor it is possible not to interfere with medHUD.
Or, if its too hard, doctors (and engies time to time) dont get a hud-effect, marines and SL's do, also not too bad.

I'd want the HUD to be in armor so it would not interfere with medic HUD. Engineers who go for mesons don't get additional HUD elements so the only issue would be with the healthy/infected icons in Health HUD.

Some fluff-HUD in armor is there already, as mentioned previously, as marines can see orders "somewhere".

In bay code there is a specific SecHud, which has no anti-glare and can therefore be flashed.

I would agree on that, it is just a little thing over eye like a medical hud.

This would be great for medics if it worked with the medical HUD. The medical HUD makes it considerably harder to tell who is who due to the top half of the helmets being covered.

You might be able to change the code around abit to make it work, but I wouldn't know, but aye the sec hud that aren't the glasses is just a medical hud, but red and gives you the information you need.

This, is exactly what I meant. It'd be super helpful. The sprites for it, are fantastic. I'd suggest going with the second medical sprite (Cross one) for identifying medics. But Yeah, Thats perfect!

It'll be easier to read once you play. As you can see, it enlarges.

Bump.
No one has any more thoughts or criticism that I can take under account. As you can see, I am in heavy support of this and would like to see this a thing. Also, I do really want my characters to wear a fancy goggle. I can improve some of them if needed.

I think that charlie could have a darker purple, it seems more pink than anything. but that is more of a unneeded gripe of mine over otherwise outstanding work.

It that for charlie or delta, because delta is normally blue but either way that is a very nice purple that I feel is better than the last one.

Charlie Squad. It is for the Charlie Squad. Anyhow, currently. The staffs are thinking whether give these to the Marines. However, if it does not work out. I have another proposition. Give it to the Military Police.

Honestly if that color could be applied to the charlie armor that would make me happy, though I think that it is something close now.
