Re: Marine HUD's
This might be doable. Maybe ad the security system to the marine helmet...

Re: Marine HUD's
I'd enjoy this addition. But, what about people who have donor items that go in the helmet space?
Also, a built in HUD for the helmets would give a further incentive for marines to wear helmets. I've had several marine squadmates that go planetside without helmets... Not only are they not in uniform, but I mean, c'mon, you're going to bite the dust the moment someone accidentally shoots you in the head or a Carrier lobs a hugger at you.

All donor items, are re-sprited Marine Helmets.
Donors items are literally:
marine/helmet/fluff/DonorName

Re: Marine HUD's
Bumping because I was gonna suggest this but used the search function in accepted suggestions first like a good boy.
Pretty desperately needed in today's CM with 100+ people playing being a regular thing. It's nearly impossible to keep track of anyone or anything as a marine, about the only way to really stick with your squad is for there to be no other squads around or you're going to lose track of who's who and going where. Variations in squad color are too muted and tiny on uniforms and helmets, especially with donator items subverting the whole idea anyway. The only easily at a glance recognizable role in a squad is the medic and only IF they wear the backpack, latex mask, latex gloves, and aren't carrying a weapon.
If squads are supposed to mean anything at all then their members desperately need marineHUD.

Re: Marine HUD's
With how stupidly hard it is to differentiate between a Charlie and a Delta for a experience player and let alone a baldie. This HUD should be the saviour of all things.
I propose a a squad coloured glow if it's all possible like this m for a alpha marine or s for bravo spec marine. Basically sec HUD but with squad coloured glow.

Pls do this. Really needed. Possible could help with rookies and baldies. Will be easier for them to just follow their SL/SL/SL/SL.

Re: Marine HUD's
It has gotten a lot harder for me to follow squad leader and sometimes mistaken Squad Leader for a marine and eventually get lost with orders. I'd recommend to duplicate the HUDsunglasses and move the code over to the helmet and gently re-sprite the helmet to involve one-eye scouter while putting in my sprites visuals for the squad. It doesn't have to be more complicated than it has to be.Jeser wrote:Pls do this. Really needed. Possible could help with rookies and baldies.
