Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Motion Trackers are a huge part of the Aliens universe on the Marine's part. Why not implement them?
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Marines would get an early warning as to huge attacks on their defenses in or near the FoB and it would add the whole "What is about to come up on me" scary element.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Motion tracker would obviously be two handed since that's how it is in the movies, which would leave a Marine open for attack and give the Xenos a better chance of survival with one less gun on them for a period of time until the Marine switches to his weapon. Maybe Engineers would have it available since specialists are loaded up enough as it is and normal Marines can't be trusted with these high tech things.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Holding/Wielding the Motion Tacker would open a window showing pulses and the usual random junk at the bottom. Friendlies wearing their IDs would show up as green dots and unidentified movement would show up blue. Or maybe all movement is blue since that's how it is in the movies/games.

Re: Motion Tracking
I would be happy with just a simplified version of this that tells me how many contacts there are within x tiles of me, and ideally points an arrow in the direction of the closest one.
+1 from me.

Re: Motion Tracking
We did have Motion Trackers in the pre-alpha for Squad Leaders, but I think they were removed due to them really dragging down the game's performance.
