Alien Pheromone Vision

Summary: I think it would be a interesting idea to explore giving Aliens pheromone vision akin to the Alien games.

Essentially Humans would have a blue outline, Aliens would have a red outline and Predators would have a green outline over their bodies at all times.

Benefits: It would further help make Aliens view the world like a Alien, as well as make things easier to identify and role play with.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):

Implementation : Complicated coding, and that I'll be informed this suggestion is impossible.

+1 Remove their x-ray vision and give them that pheromone vision instead.

Prehaps look at making it that Aliens keep some x-ray vision, but through walls all Aliens can see is a faint outline of someone, but they can't tell what they look like until they can visually see them

I've made a suggestion to remake it into pheromone vision back on Nostromo, because I felt butthurt about it. However, on this new map, I have no problems at all with them having X-ray. And I say that as a mostly marine player.
Lockie 'Furry' Hughes, your local source of annoyance, medicine and Will. E. Coyote engineering. Mostly medicine. Maybe annoyance.

They need some of the x-ray to see the layout of their hive so they don't run into walls.
Perhaps make it so weeds and resin walls show up through walls as well?

Anyway, +1 to giving it a shot, it seems interesting. They aren't supposed to even be affected by predator cloak anyway.

the only issue is, how would one code this? From what I understand, BYOND's Line of Sight code is... not super flexible. I could be wrong.

Basically, give them thermals. Its already a thing on vg, low level vampires can see living creatures through walls but not the walls themselves until they get higher ranks.

Thermals have one stupid thing. They shows character like if it in clear line of sight. However it should show contour of alive creature. I want aliens to see marines through walls, BUT: 1. Not X-Rays, no one can see through walls like there aren't any; 2. Aliens should see just contours, they shoudln't have ability to see, who is that marine and what weapon he has.
